Rahshemah is a nonbinary Black person who was 23 at the time of recording. This interview happened over the span of multiple weeks. Rahshemah candidly discussed the trauma they endured attending an abusive charter school as a 'gifted kid' without accommodations. They talk about gender, disability, and the importance of their mom and books as an escape. Rahshemah covers exploring their sexuality and gender in college, queer signaling, lesbian theory, and lesbian sex and attraction as a person on the ace spectrum. They cover how race, class, and gender affect their life and interactions with other Lesbians. Rahshemah ends with talking about how they meet other Lesbians, what Lesbianism means to them, and what Lesbian spaces they wish existed.
