Rachel's collection contains poetry.
She loves swimming and has been singing her whole life. She also enjoys singing, playing guitar, writing, collaging, dricing around in a car with friends, and playing with her dog. When asked why she applied to this project, Rachel wrote, "I’ve been wanting to be involved in a project like this for a long time. My own senior capstone project will focus on college age lesbians in nyc and how their intersecting identities shape their perspective on love :)I just really love that this is lesbian specific! I see a lot of projects about queer people in general but projects relating specifically to lesbianism, especially with a focus on intersectionality are rare to come by in my opinion."
