Mia is white woman who was 21 at the time of recording. She talks about what it was like growing up in a conservative town in Missouri. Mia candidly discussed disability and fighting to accommodations in middle and high school. She discussed how youtube, being around another Disabled students, and the legalization of gay marriage in the United States greatly influenced her growing up. Mia also talks about advocating for asexual rights in a GSA, asexual visibility, and how that all intersects with her Lesbianism. She discussed how Disability and chronic pain inform her interactions with Lesbian community losing energy and in-person community. Mia ends with a discussion on isolation from Lesbian spaces, building Lesbian community online, and what Lesbian spaces she wish existed.
