Lily

Lily’s collection includes collage, poetry, and prose writings.

She enjoys music, activism/organizing, DIY/sewing, making art, reading, poetry, zine-making and reading/collecting, hiking/being outdoors, and fermenting/pickling/other preservative making activities. Lily wrote when applying to this project, “I think that stories of lesbian experiences, growing up, and creating community are deeply powerful and important. I know that for me personally, especially when I was younger, I often did not see myself represented in many stories. In Particular, lesbian community and solidarity through our experiences is something that I think is very beautiful, but something that I often had trouble finding representation of. I love the idea of bringing together all these different stories of lesbian experiences and I would love to help contribute to a project that does this work!”
