Lillian talks about growing up in Staten Island without many friends. They cover going to a white private school and feeling isolated because of differing cultural norms. Lillian discusses a Chinese American afterschool program they attended where they met Queer elders and got involved with political action. They talk about struggling to identify as a Lesbian, Lesbian sex, queer signaling, and Lesbian theory. Lillian covers how race, gender, and complex trauma inform their interactions with other Lesbians. They end with a discussion on where they find other Queer people of color, what identifying as a Lesbians means to them, and what Lesbian spaces they wish existed.
