Indigo is a nonbinary Afro-Latine person who was 24 at the time of recording. They talk about growing up in the Dominican Republic until they went to college. Indigo discusses the intricacies of class, race, and ethnicity in the Dominican Republic as a light skin, class advantaged, person of African descent. Indigo talks about trying to be hyper-feminine, being forced to wear make up, grow out their hair, and prepare to have a husband. They framed these gender roles as always something to struggle against and how they were hard to unlearn. Indigo covers when they recognized their Lesbian identity, how body modifications affirm their gender, and how important queer webcomics were when developing their queerness. They candidly discuss gender, the racial fetishization of white French lesbians while in college, Lesbian spaces they desire for the Dominican Republic, and when they are happiest as a Lesbian.
