Ash

Ash’s collection includes stained glass suncatchers, a knit scarf, and a patch. They love to knit, make stained glass panels, watch horror movies, bike, and try to pick up every craft/skill/language. They are currently learning Hebrew and Spanish. Ash wrote when applying to this project saying, “I love oral histories. I think they capture the vibrancy and unique characteristics of communities so much better than other methods, and I am so excited that you are doing this kind of work for our community! I love being a lesbian and am so grateful to the archives for preserving the past generations’ stories for us, so I love the idea of doing the same for the lesbians that come after us.”
