Sofi is a nonbinary latine person who was 22 at the time of recording. They discuss what it was like growing up in Mexico, within a Catholic environment. Sofi also discussed bullying from classmates about weight gain when they were diagnosed with PCOS. They talked about the myth of mestiza in Mexico which leads to Indigenous erasure. Sofi talks about the importance of adornment, wearing jewelry, clothing, and tattoos to feeling comfortable in their body and with their Lesbianism. They discuss how queer theory and queer art influences their gender and sexuality. Sofi ends by talking about where they meet other Lesbians in the city, building a queer community, what Lesbian spaces they wish existed, and when they are happiest as a Lesbian.
