Nina is a genderqueer nonbinary, afro-latine and Iranian Cuban person who was 21 years old at the time of recording. They discuss what it was like growing up in Miami with divorced parents and learning about their biological dad in their teen years. Nina covered thoughts they had about race, ethnicity, and sexuality conversations they had with themself in middle and highschool. Nina, as an artist, also candidly covered how art making helped develop their relationship to their body, their gender, and their Queerness. Nina covers how they intentionally try and create spaces for lesbians of color and trans people of color. Finally, Nina discussed how they make and meet lesbians in New York City and Miami, what Lesbian spaces mean to them, and when they are happiest as a lesbian.
