Maia is a nonbinary Black woman who was 21 at the time of recording. She talks about growing up class disasdvantaged in Georgia. Maia also discusses bullying and racism she faced in middle and highschool from her peers while also highlighting the importance of Lesbian tumblr and youtube on her development. She openly describes her first relationship and discusses Partner sexual abuse she survived in highschool. Maia covers what it means to 'look Queer' to her and the formation of her Lesbian identity from a young age. She ends by talking about her current Lesbian community in New York City, what she would like to change about the NYC lesbian scene, and what Lesbianism means to her.
